Required operational data

This is the minimum data needed for sign-in, subscriptions, usage calculation, security, and incident response. It is necessary to provide the service, and retention periods and access permissions are limited.

Optional learning-personalization consent

We may use context that a user directly saves, dictionary lookups, and selected learning preferences to provide personalized stories and Recast conversations. We do not conclude that a user knows a word merely because it appeared on screen. Translation and core features remain available without consent.

Optional advertising-personalization consent

This is separate from learning personalization. The default is no consent, and we do not use sensitive characteristics, the contents of third-party voices or documents, or stored context for targeting.

Withdrawal, deletion, and export

Consent may be withdrawn at any time. Users may delete individual context, export data, and delete accounts. Lawful processing before withdrawal is not affected, but later personalization processing stops.

Contact and changes

We retain the version and time of consent records. Contact information, country-specific additional notices, and a minors policy will be finalized after legal review before launch.
